Minecraft isn’t just the highest selling video game in the world. It is also an empowering make-believe simulation that has allowed people to design the world of their wildest imagination with cubes. Warner Bros. is ready to take this to the next level with the first ever live-action adaptation of the video game, titled A Minecraft Movie. The recently released teaser shows us some innocent wanderers stuck in one of the 3D renders. Their goal is to battle some classic Minecraft elements like piglins and zombies and escape to their home with the help of the unexpected expert crafter, Steve. Starring Jason Momoa, Jack Black and Emma Myers in prominent roles, the clip teases the gorgeous and vibrant world that the film is set in, and promises to take the potential of the iconic building blocks to a different level. It’s a long, long wait till the film’s premiere in April 2025, but if it’s anything like the game, we’ll take it!
