The hype for Karan Johar’s next, Rocky Aur Rani Kii Prem Kahaani, seems to be growing bigger with every passing day. Dharma Productions has set our expectations sky-high with the film’s official trailer, which takes us into the world of two star-crossed lovers who need to get their opposing families on board with their eccentric romance.
While Ranveer Singh’s Rocky hails from a loud and boisterous Punjabi family, Alia Bhatt’s Rani comes from an intellectually immersed Bengali household. The clip has multiple little quirks from both states, and the Bangali nuances especially hit home for us. Releasing on July 28, this film promises to be the all-out mega entertainer we have been waiting for.
