Raj Chakrabarty is making his web-series debut with Abar Proloy

After almost a decade since Proloy, Saswata Chatterjee is back as Animesh Datta in the official teaser of Raj Chakrabarty’s first web series, Abar Proloy. Essaying a special crime branch cop with a mean temper and a meaner punch, Chatterjee is faced with a mission to save young girls from a deadly human trafficking ring in the Sunderbans. The teaser promises to give an unapologetic look into one of the biggest organised crimes in Bengal, commenting on how the same soil gives Maa so much respect, but disrespects her daughters. The clip also packs in a lot of larger-than-life action. We can’t wait to binge this thriller when it finally arrives on Zee5.
