‘SOTY’ boys light up the Koffee couch
Bromance, spilling the beans and more — episode 5 seems to have quite a few ‘high 5’ moments

It’s Student of the Year reunion, and only Alia Bhatt is missing. Sidharth Malhotra and Varun Dhawan showed up for the latest episode of Koffee with Karan, and by the teaser of it, the episode seems like a cracker. From KJo calling Sidharth and Varun “Kens without Barbies” to the boys teasingly calling Karan “home-wrecker”, the fun banters make for a fun watch.
Tables were turned in this episode, and the quizmaster got to answer a few instead. Varun and Sidharth asked Karan about how he gets Salman to star in his film, and about his besties in the industry. Fun anecdotes of Varun taking photos with women in Los Angeles during the shooting of My Name is Khan (VD was an AD in the film) to sharing photos of Shah Rukh Khan, the unknown deets revealed newer things about the actor.
While the crackling chemistry between the three is palpable, we hope there’s a project brewing with Sidharth, Varun and Alia starring in a Karan Johar-special romantic tale. After all, Ishqwala Love never gets, and a re-run is always welcome, isn’t it?
The episode will air on Disney Plus Hotstar on Thursday, November 24.
