Do you ever find yourself missing the era of classic Bollywood romances filled with montages in the scenic hills, where the couple professed their love in colourful costumes?
Dharma Productions’ latest, Rocky Aur Rani Kii Prem Kahaani seems poised to bring this era back, and its teaser is an unabashed love letter to the films of yore. Ranveer Singh and Alia Bhatt are reminiscent of Shah Rukh and Kajol in every frame, with larger-than-life sets and grandiose outfits. Packed on top is a delicious family drama, with the sensibilities of both families creating friction in their love affair. Clearly, Bollywood isn’t done with magnum opuses, and neither are we. The July 28 release date can’t arrive soon enough!
