August 23 will remain a landmark date for science enthusiasts of the country, as the Chandrayaan-3 marked a successful landing on the Moon’s south pole.
In celebration of this feat, revel in the genius that went behind the mission by marvelling at the images released by the Lander Horizontal Velocity Camera, taken during the descent.
The images were shared after the communication link was established between Chandrayaan-3 and MOX-ISTRAC, Bengaluru.
Things are certainly looking up, as the world takes note of Indian Space Research Organisation’s (ISRO) prowess. We are hoping that this is just an indication of bigger things to come.
