Christmas has always been a special time in the Harry Potter universe. Be it the time when Harry got an invisibility cloak from a mysterious well-wisher, to the time when Ron and Hermione shared an intense spat at the Yule Ball, both J. K. Rowling and the film’s directors ensured that each Christmas at Hogwarts gave fans a feel of magical festivity.
The latest reel from the franchise’s official Instagram account takes us back into this world, encouraging us to rewatch the films. The caption asks us to start watching the first film, Harry Potter and the Philosopher’s Stone at 10:32:57pm on Christmas Eve, to have Harry and Ron wish us all a ‘Merry Christmas’ exactly at 12am on Christmas Day!
So, decorate your Christmas tree and press ‘Play’ on December 24 to be transported back to the wizarding world.
