From 1990, every year a fresh batch of kids watch Home Alone for the first time and ask Santa to make their parents forget them on vacation. The hilarious comedy about an eight-year-old messing with two menacing thieves by setting up booby traps around his home is thoroughly entertaining. Actor Macaulay Culkin is in top form as Kevin, making you crack up with his comedy, and feel heartbroken with those lonely eyes. Joe Pesci and Daniel Stern perfectly back him up as the antagonists you can’t help liking, bringing a charm to thievery. Streaming on Hotstar, all 103 minutes of this film feel light and breezy.
