In the lead up to the release of Shohorer Ushnotomo Dine, actor Vikram Chatterjee got nostalgic about his hometown, Kolkata, fondly recalling some of his fondest memories of the city.
He also reflects upon the transition between Calcutta and Kolkata, maintaining that the bustle of the metropolis cannot replace its quaint colonial architecture. Chatterjee further spoke about the switch in ‘prem’, commenting on how couples would go for walks in Rabindra Sarobar or Prinsep Ghat earlier, whereas today, they flock to malls. The cutest anecdote? As a schoolkid, he would deliberately cycle through the lanes of Jadavpur, hoping for a chance encounter with his crush who stayed in the para!
These nostalgic nuggets have gotten us even more excited for the release of Shohorer Ushnotomo Dine on June 30!
