Small places, big dreams! The new trailer of Dunki kicks off with a lighthearted twist as Hardy, or Hardyal Singh Dhillon, embarks on a mission to lead himself and his comrades from India to the UK or Canada. The trailer also teases a journey that starts with lighthearted English lessons but takes an unexpected twist — fleeing, evading gunfire, facing authorities and attending a mysterious cremation.
This movie seems to be a perfect blend of drama and comedy, showcasing SRK as a young man with ambitious dreams and later, as an older man still chasing those aspirations — an intriguing concept reminiscent of Jawan but with a unique touch. Adding to the charm is the ‘are they or aren’t they’ situationship between Hardy and Manu (played by Taapsee Pannu). With Hardy proudly boasting about his ‘girl wali friend’ and Manu standing up for him, the plot thickens.
Directed by Rajkumar Hirani, the film features stellar performances by Taapsee Pannu, Boman Irani, and Vicky Kaushal alongside Shah Rukh Khan. Presented by Jio Studios, Red Chillies Entertainment, and Rajkumar Hirani Films, this entertaining tale promises to captivate audiences when it hits theatres on December 21.
