Shantanu Moitra fondly remembers KK in this video
The singer might be gone, but his art lives on

Shantanu Moitra shared an old video on Instagram of him jamming with singer KK. Moitra strummed on his guitar as KK whistled into the microphone. The composer says in the caption of the post that the singer enjoyed whistling while he sang and they can be seen enjoying themselves and grooving to the music. KK passed away abruptly from a cardiac arrest in Kolkata on May 31, 2022 right after he performed in a concert at Nazrul Mancha. This video truly shows how the artiste’s art continues to live on even when he’s gone. The song is a composition for the film Lost, which is set to release this month.
