Few people have left as
indelible a mark on Indian cinema as the legendary Raj Kapoor. One of the
greatest actors of all times, his birth centenary was recently celebrated with
a fitting artistic tribute by one of the greatest cricketers.
Sachin Tendulkar shared an Instagram post, showcasing a
beautiful painting that highlights some of Raj Kapoor’s most memorable films.
From the iconic umbrella scene in Shree
420 to the tramp who is a
passionate romantic in Awara, this art piece perfectly captures the magic that
the actor weaved on screen. Sachin also referenced the iconic Mukesh number, Mera Joota Hai Japani in the caption, adding that Kapoor’s life itself
was his greatest creation, leaving all cinephiles much richer for it. We
couldn’t agree more!
