Fans of The Office
fondly remember Randall Park’s guest appearance, where he pretended to be Jim
Halpert, a role that John Krasinski had made his own. As the buzz picks up
around Krasinski’s upcoming movie, IF, Park created a unique promo with
Ryan Reynolds that holds a special reference to that iconic scene.
The clip shows Reynolds
giving viewers a peek into the film’s BTS footage, before he is joined by Park,
who claims to be Krasinski. A hapless Reynolds tries to make sense of this
visual dissonance, while Park confidently introduces himself as the director
and writer of the film! The clip is a great nod to the film’s theme around Imaginary
Friends, and we can’t wait to watch it on the big screen, on May
17.
