It’s Olympics season, and what better way to celebrate Friendship
Day than with your squad? Plan a party and if you’re worried it’s too
last-minute, My Kolkata has you covered. Let the party planning begin…
Games:
1.
Keep it simple, that’s the mantra.
Check the Olympics schedule for Saturday and have the TV channel ready. Take a
glass bowl or a piece of cardboard and write the names of competing athletes on
slips of paper
2.
Ask your friends to pick one paper
each and read out the names. Keep a scoreboard ready. The athlete who wins
makes for the winning friend to drink a shot (of coffee or ahem…)
3.
Also print out photos of the popular
athletes in coloured photo paper and make a makeshift photobooth with a
monochrome background. Keep a polaroid camera handy. The pal squad can pose and
get clicked with their favourite sports personality
Food:
1.
Keep it simple here too. If you are
in a mood to make a starter to two, saute salamis in butter. In the same pan
saute salt, pepper and lemon juice marinated prawns. Wrap the prawns in the
salamis and secure with a toothpick. That’s your first recipe
2.
For the second recipe, get artisanal
sausages and make a spicy semi-gravy curry. Complement with packed foods like
popcorn and pizza, and easy dips made with Greek yogurt or coconut. Enjoy the
Games with your friends
