With 66,000 spectators
being entertained by the Kolkata Knight Riders, there is bound to be waste all
around the legendary Eden Gardens stadium. So, who cleans it all up?
Well, KKR posted a video on
their Instagram with co-owner Juhi Chawla thanking the Green Team from Meer
Foundation who worked tirelessly through KKR’s home games to maintain the
beauty and hygiene of the iconic Eden Gardens. From collecting and segregating
the waste to teaching the food vendors in the stadium about waste management,
Meer Foundation, who have taken up the Leave No Trace Policy, has done a
fantastic job in keeping our beloved Eden clean. Find out what they did and how
they are ensuring Eden Gardens remains waste free while ensuring the waste
doesn’t end up in landfills. Eden Gardens is Kolkata’s pride, as are the Knight
Riders. Check out the full video to see how you can help keep Eden clean on
your next visit there.
