Few have given Indian cricket as much as the great Sachin Tendulkar. April 24 is a holy day for many Indians, coinciding with the ‘God of Cricket’s birthday. As Sachin turned 51, he managed to do the impossible, uniting the biggest rivals of the Indian Premier League, the Mumbai Indians and the Chennai Super Kings. The two teams, who have both clinched five IPL titles and regularly feature among everyone’s favourite IPL teams, wished Sachin on his 51st birthday with Instagram posts. While CSK created a beautiful graphic of Sachin pointing his bat to the heavens after his 100th century, with the iconic number 10 making for the background, MI shared a stunning mural of Sachin’s many achievements, spray painted by a father-son duo, donning his iconic No 10 jersey.
We hope Sachin is having a blast today, and thank him for the innumerable memories he gave us, both on and off the field!
