After a season of ups and downs, where Manchester United finished eighth in the Premier League, rumours were afloat Erik ten Hag’s future. Despite criticisms of his league performance, the United board has backed ten Hag to steer the ship until 2026. In his first season, ten Hag led United to an EFL Cup victory, their first trophy since 2017. He followed this by defeating Manchester City in the FA Cup, making it two trophies in two seasons.
With a contract extension as a vote of confidence, United fans are hopeful ten Hag can improve their league position and challenge for the title starting this August. So, what do you think of your manager’s contract extension, Red Devils? Check out your club’s Instagram post to see what ten Hag had to say about his new contract.
