On the evening of September 2, Kochuda aka Monojit Datta's
legendary band, The Orient Express, will take the centre stage at Someplace
Else to celebrate the late musician's birthday. This special night will be
filled with laughter, music and a heartfelt tribute to Kochuda's vibrant
spirit. Friends, both old and new, are invited to join in the celebration,
where the atmosphere will be alive with the enchanting sounds of World Music,
blending Afro-Cuban and Afro-Brazilian rhythms.
The Orient Express, known for connecting generations through
music, will mesmerise the audience with their unique blend of expressionism and
beats. The talented lineup includes Dwaipayan Saha, Deboprotim Baksi, Mainak
Nag Chowdhury, Vishal Iyer, and Bodhisattwa Ghosh, each contributing their
exceptional artistry to the performance.
