‘The Devil Wears Prada 2’ to make a return?
Disney confirms sequel to the iconic fashion film with original cast members in talks to reprise their roles

Great news The Devil Wears Prada fans! Reportedly, Disney has announced the development of a sequel to the beloved fashion film, with much of the original cast expected to return. We are sure, fans of this 2006 classic will be thrilled to see Meryl Streep, Anne Hathaway, Emily Blunt and Stanley Tucci reprise their iconic roles. Director David Frankel, who directed the original movie, is set to return, maintaining continuity in the film’s creative direction. And screenwriter Aline Brosh McKenna, who wrote the screenplay for the first film, will also return to write the new script.
The sequel will present a new storyline, focusing on Miranda Priestly as she navigates the challenges of the evolving print magazine industry. Emily, now a senior executive at an advertising firm, will find herself opposing Priestly’s ambitions. The trio of Hathaway, Blunt and Streep has expressed excitement about reuniting, with their recent appearance at the SAG Awards fueling further speculation. With Disney’s D23 Expo on the horizon, fans are eagerly anticipating more details. No release date has been announced yet, but audiences are already buzzing with anticipation for this next chapter in the saga.
