Jewellery is an intrinsic part of Sujoy Prasad Chatterjee’s outfits. The multidisciplinary artiste revealed, “Every time I am upset, my friends joke, ‘Give him a nice accessory and his anger will go down!’” This love percolates into his gifting patterns, where he loves pampering his staff with handmade, fabric, upcycled or ceramic jewellery, the latter of which he himself creates.
Apart from jewellery, fabrics are his go-to for gifting. “I enjoy gifting handwoven and handloom saris. Kantha potlis are another favourite. Apart from picking up trinkets from my travels and supporting indigenous designers, I keep going back to good old Dakshinapan. My prime concern while purchasing a gift is for it to be eco-friendly,” he added.
