Vishal Bhardwaj’s cineverse and his language of music are what can be near-perfectly described as a personal note to self, only narrated by a master storyteller. His other avatar, as a poet, is equally brilliant.
Nude, a collection of 25 poems that was published in 2018, is simply an unputdownable bilingual read. The English translations have been done by poet and critic Sukrita Paul Kumar. Don’t miss the foreword by Gulzar and introduction by Bhardwaj himself that are as good as his Ghazalein.
