Everyone is on holiday during the Pujas, and that includes gym trainers. With most of the gyms shut, how do we make sure that we don’t put on extra calories during Puja? Well, Nil has a solution for you. A fitness buff himself, Nil says, “All the gyms are closed, we all eat a lot of things during the festivities, and there is no way of keeping those calories in check. That’s why I make it a point to go for a run every morning.”
With so much calorie intake it’s hard to maintain the diet you need to stay in shape. Nil says, “A run for about half an hour is the best way to keep the body’s metabolism in check, so the system is not running on overload through these days of indulgence.” Let’s face it — there is no way we aren’t cheating this Puja, so enjoy all the food you want to try from the chaats to the fish fry to the mangshor jhol, but get it out of the system with a nice run.
