Do you have Sherlock Holmes Jr. or a little Dora - the
Explorer at home? Then it’s time to make Children’s Day fun for them with this
Treasure Hunt game. Here’s how you can curate one for the little one at home
and their friends:
1. Choose a selection of items to hide, such as small gifts or objects. You can
include a grand final prize as the ultimate treasure.
2. Write a factoid about each item or a clue on small chits.
If you are good with rhyming words, then use little rhymes to make it fun.
3. Place the clue for the next item with each hidden object,
leading the children from one clue to the next until they find the grand prize.
4. Select a nearby park to hide the items out of sight but within reach.
Alternatively, you can set up the game at home.
5. Start the game by handing out the first clue
and set them off. To make it even more exciting, provide hints by telling them
if they are ‘near’ or ‘far’ from the next clue or treasure.
