Struggling to catch some Zzzzz? On World Sleep Day today, why not give Audible’s new sleep podcasts collection a try? Designed to soothe your mind and help you to sleep, their three Sleep Sound series are part of a specially curated Audible sleep collection that features dedicated meditations, all-night soundscapes, Autonomous Sensory Meridian Response (ASMR) and bedtime stories.
Picture yourself drifting off while listening to an enchanting bedtime story narrated by Pallavi Sharda, an Australian actor and dancer of Indian origin. Sharda beautifully recounts the tale of Princess Aubergine, a South Asian Sleeping Beauty fairytale guaranteed to induce sleep. There is a dreamy poetry read by Natalie Imbruglia, an Australian singer-songwriter and actress. She lends her voice to the series through a selection of verses from celebrated poet Dorothea Mackellar, creating a rich and immersive experience. Meditate with water-based meditations performed by Cody Simpson, an Australian singer and actor, who in his series, gently guides listeners to the land of sleep with calming soundscapes inspired by the serenity of water.
