The track Jamal Kudu
from the movie Animal not only has us humming along but also inspired a
trend of balancing glasses on our heads. Musician Rikhiram Sharma has redefined
the soundscape with a jaw-dropping rendition. In his version of the Iranian
song, he seamlessly blends traditional sitar vibes with electrifying trap beats
and bassliness, creating a fusion that’s sure to leave you mesmerised. While
the sitar follows the tune of the chorus with personal touches by Sharma, the
trap music gives it a different flow altogether.
We can see any club or
house party get pumped with this rendition by Sharma and we can’t wait for the
full version. But till then if you’re looking for music where electronic music
meets culture, then you can always check out the works of artistes like Akhlad Ahmed, Shrii
and more.
