If two songs of two different genres are blended together with the power of melody, then the outcome is a soothing musical experience. The Nandy Sisters, Antara and Ankita, who often drop mashup covers of popular songs, have taken to Instagram with a new rendition, and this time it is Adnan Sami meeting Kailash Kher.
Tera Chehra by Adnan and Piya Ghar Aavenge by Kailash have been amalgamated in one reel, where the sisters have presented the two songs one after the other, strumming their ukuleles.
Tera Chehra, released in 2002 from the titular album, has been one of the most popular songs by the multi-talented musician — Adnan Sami. The music video that starrer Rani Mukerji told a tale of love and loss. Piya Ghar, on the hand, is a chartbusting number by Kailash Kher, from the album Chaandan Mein, which was released in 2009. The artists who joined Kailash in the original song were Paresh Kamath, Naresh Kamath. The folk-based song that speaks of a woman waiting eagerly to meet her beloved is one of the most beautiful love songs of the 2000s.
As you slip into your weekend mood, tune into the newest cover of Nandy Sisters and enjoy.
