Dr Nene has a list of the best cooking oils for heart health

The type of oil you use in your cooking can affect your heart health. While saturated fats found in certain oils like palm oil can cause heart diseases, some other plant-based oils can help reduce the risk of heart attacks and other illnesses. Dr Shriram Nene, who is a cardiothoracic surgeon and husband to actress Madhuri Dixit Nene, often uses his Instagram page to educate people about health with short videos. In a recent reel, Dr Nene has listed five oils that are best for heart health, and lucky for us the Bengali staple mustard oil features on the list!
