The first thing that comes to mind when anyone in the world thinks of Agra, is the Taj Mahal. For Indians, it is the Delhi-Agra highway!
Malaysian comedian and YouTuber Nigel Ng aka Uncle Roger reiterated this hilarious observation in his latest Instagram reel, pointing out how Indians were more fascinated by the roads than the monuments they were leading up to. Be it the Golden Triangle of Delhi-Agra-Jaipur, which is famous for its six-lane highways, or the new upcoming route which is expected to shorten the driving commute between Delhi and Mumbai to 12 hours, Uncle Roger was shocked as to why Indians couldn’t get enough of their own highways. His best zinger? How India truly is the place where the journey is better than the destination! Speaking of which, have you had a chance to explore the Delhi-Agra highway?
