Attention Delhi folks!
Perbacco at The Lodhi is preparing a unique Progressive Chinese pop-up called, I
Am Not a Noodle, helmed by the accomplished Chef Katherine Chung, who
previously brought the magic of Hakka cuisine to Kolkata. Presented by Gormei,
the pop up, which will be operational on October 28 and 29 from 7pm, documents
her personal journey, and explores the juxtaposition of her identity with food.
The menu will have dishes rarely seen outside Hakka homes including Yam Abacus
Beads, Roast Crackling Pork Belly, and Stuffed Pumpkin Flowers with Miso Mash
and Hot Mustard. The meal will begin with some wine tasting, and each dish will
carry a personal narrative. To top it off are two decadent desserts, Sesame
Balls with Ice Cream and Osmanthus Honey, and Fried Milk Custard with Soy
Caramel Drizzle.
The five course meal is
priced at Rs 4,500-plus per person.
