Eating out every day during Durga Puja might be a little
stressful for your stomach. However, having a hearty and healthy breakfast can
help curb unnecessary cravings. Take a cue from this special homemade milkshake
recipe by Anand Puri. He said, “The pujo days are often a rollercoaster
ride for the poor stomach. Bring in something healthy and nourishing that will
sustain the energy required for those hours of walking, talking and having fun.
I’d recommend a homemade shake.”
Ingredients
- Almonds:
3-4 pcs (soaked)
- Sunflower
seeds: 1 tsp
- Flax
seeds: 1 tsp
- Oats:
1 tbsp
- Banana:
1 whole
- Dates:
2-3 pcs
- Milk:
Dairy or vegan
Method
- In a
blender, toss in all ingredients and make a milkshake
- You
can top it up with some chopped nuts and natural sweeteners if needed
