Gorom bhaat teamed with a dollop of maan kochu bata is one such win-win combo that can never disappoint you, just like dal-bhaat or bhaat with posto bata. Instagram handle Bangalir Pakshala recently shared this OG Bengali cuisine recipe, and we could not help but bring it to your notice.
Inspired by the process the maan kochu bata was presented in the Subhashree Ganguly-starrer Indubala Bhaater Hotel on Hoichoi, this recipe was made the authentic way on a shil-nora. If you are planning to make some, the key ingredients are maan kochu (taro root), shorshey (mustard seeds), posto (poppy seeds) and narkel (coconut), with some green chillies, salt and mustard oil.
The web series is based on Kallol Lahiri's book titled Indubala Bhater Hotel, and both the book and the web series are perfect to binge on, if you haven’t already.
