Wondering how to make the Children’s Day special for the
munchkin at home? How about whipping up easy treats that will delight the li’l
one, and will also inspire him or her towards the culinary craft? When it comes
to cooking that is fire-free, salads are the always safe, and here’s a recipe
for you two to try today:
Quick Chicken Sausage Salad:
Ingredients:
- Chicken
sausages: 100gm (In room temperature)
- Cherry
tomatoes: 100gm
- Black
and green olives: 2 tablespoons
- Peas:
1 small cup
- Salt:
To taste
- Black
pepper powder: To taste
- Lime
juice: To taste
Recipe:
- Chop
the chicken sausages into bite sized pieces
- Help
the budding chef mix all the ingredients in a bowl. Assist while putting
the seasoning and ask them to taste and balance the seasonings, if needed.
The salad is ready!
The second recipe is an easy mug cake that’s chocolaty and
thereby delish for kids and adults:
Choco Mug Cake
Ingredients:
- All
purpose flour: 1/4th cup
- Egg:
1
- Jaggery:
2 tablespoons
- Baking
soda: 1 small pinch
- Cocoa
powder: 1 tablespoon
- Full
fat milk: 3 to 4 tablespoons
- Butter:
2 tablespoons
- Small
chocolate bar: 1
Recipe:
- Ask
the baker-in-charge to grease a microwave-safe mug with butter
- Collab
and mix all the ingredients in the mug
- Bake
the mug cake for 1 and a half minutes
- Put
the chocolate bar atop the mug cake and bake for 20 to 30 seconds
more
- Enjoy
