Team up with your classmates and make it a fun class project

Would you like to plan something special and
different for your mentors on Teachers’ Day? Here’s an offbeat idea that’s
sweet and will make the day memorable for your mentors. If you love cooking,
whether it’s whipping up cupcakes or making PB&J sandwiches, curate a
special buffet spread for the teachers and surprise them. Team up with your
classmates and make it a fun class project, where each student brings something
to add to the menu.
Here are some ideas to make your Teachers’ Day
special buffet a hit:
1. Skip tablecloths and create DIY table covers with
newspapers or colourful chart papers
2. Divide the DIY group into mini subgroups — one
group can handle the table cover, while another makes handwritten cards for the
teachers
3. Add a dash of fun by writing anecdotes about each
teacher and putting them in a bowl. Plan a pre- or post-lunch activity where
teachers pick a paper from the bowl and everyone guesses who it’s about
