This is the season when
water chestnut is easily available in the market — in heaps. Water chestnuts,
popularly called Singhadas, are rich in fibre — making them excellent for
digestion. They’re also a great addition to your diet as they are low in calories.
If you're looking to try new salad recipes, this water chestnut and cucumber
salad is worth a try at home.
Just take chopped earthy
water chestnuts, fresh cucumbers and coriander leaves. Top it with
pomegranates, coconut sugar and roasted peanuts to make it more flavourful and
wholesome. Enjoy this nutrient-rich dish at lunch or for brunch. Health and
fitness coach Saloni A. has shared a detailed recipe reel to guide you through
it. Check it out!
