Enjoy a fusion of art and performance at CIMA's latest exhibition
Dancers and musicians to explore and interpret the essence of art through their own performances
Published 12.12.24, 04:23 PM
With CIMA Gallery’s latest
exhibition, ‘Shape Without Form, Shade Without Colour’, in full swing, today
brings an exciting offering — one that explores movement within the stillness
of art. Young performing artists have been invited to view and spend time with
the stunning body of work on display — which features artists such as Ganesh
Pyne, Somnath Hore, M.F. Husain, Sudhir Patwardhan, Yusuf, and Rashmi Bagchi
Sarkar — and interpret the shapes without form and shades without colour in
their own ways — be it through music or movement.
Presented by the Young Performers Forum, in collaboration with
CIMA, today’s live performance will feature young dancers and musicians from
India and Singapore — all of whom come from multidisciplinary performance arts
backgrounds. The show is in a few hours — this one is not to be missed, Kolkata!
Date: December 12
Time: 5.30pm
Venue: CIMA Gallery, 43, Ashutosh
Chowdhury Ave, Ballygunge, Kolkata, West Bengal - 700019
