Prepare to be mesmerised by the magic of Indian classical music on November 11, as a unique ensemble takes the stage at Nazrul Mancha. Tabla maestro Pt. Bickram Ghosh is all set to join hands with A. Sivamani, Kaushiki Chakraborty, and Pt. Tejendra Narayan Majumdar for Beyond Fusion, a concert which aims to push the boundaries of rhythm and melody, while uniting the best classical musicians. With Sivamani on percussion, Chakraborty behind the vocals, Ghosh anchoring the tabla, and Majumdar making magic with his sarod while doubling up as the curator, this night will be one of memorable music.
“The four of us have never played together on stage, so it is a very challenging and special mix. We have some interesting raga-based compositions that range from exciting and groovy to beautifully melodic. The audience is in for a special treat for sure,” said Ghosh.
