As Indians, we know that freedom comes at a heavy price.
While we often take it for granted, many around the world are still struggling
to enjoy even the most basic freedoms. The People’s Film Collective wants to
spend this Independence Day shedding light on the struggles of Iran and
Palestine, where independence continues to be a distant dream even in
2024.
From 10am to 9pm on August 15, Uttam Mancha at Hazra will
host the 7th Frames of Freedom 2024, screening two films from Palestine and
four from Iran, which are sure to make viewers question the world we live
in.
Entry is free and open to all.
