Word on the streets is that Coldplay is bringing their Music Of The Spheres tour to India in 2025. While there is still a while to go for that, lucky for us, Someplace Else is hosting a Coldplay Tribute Nite on Saturday, June 8, where well-known city musicians will come together to make this night an epic one.
Those included in the band are Gabu on drums, Bodhi on guitar, Sudipto Paul on keys, Tiyash Sen on bass and Diptarka Bose on vocals. While songs like Yellow and Sky Full of Stars might make it on the list, here are some lesser known songs you can tap into before the gig:
We Never Change: The song is introspective and reflects on the desire for a simple and unchanging life amidst the complexities of the world. It looks for stability and the comfort of staying true to oneself.
A Rush of Blood to the Head: This song deals with themes of regret, impulsiveness, and the consequences of hasty decisions. The lyrics convey a sense of urgency and a realisation of mistakes.
Up With the Birds: An optimistic song about hope and renewal. It combines a melancholic beginning with a more uplifting ending, where the lyrics speak about finding hope.
Where: Someplace Else, 17 Mother Teresa Sarani, The Park Hotel
When: June 8, 9.30pm onwards
Entry: By hotel rules
