The Great Indian Rock
Fest, organised by BoShow, is set to electrify the stage at the Princeton Club
on July 20. Curated by Punch, a multilingual progressive rock band from
Kolkata, this event celebrates their second anniversary with a spectacular
line-up. The concert will feature performances by The Miliputs, Fickle Freelancers,
Between Blanks, and Punch. Expect a thrilling array of music — from Punch’s
Hindi originals and covers of Porcupine Tree and Pearl Jam, to an Indian Fusion
segment blending sitar and flute melodies. Fickle Freelancers will captivate
with classic rock, folk, and country numbers, while Between Blanks will bring
the house down with alt rock hits from last year’s edition. Folk rock
enthusiasts will be delighted by The Miliputs, who are sure to enthral the
audience.
The gala event promises
to be a rare treat for all rock music aficionados. The event will also feature
a full menu of food and liquor, with the bar open until 10.30pm. Guests can
indulge in savouries crafted by the chefs at Princeton Club, ensuring a night
filled with great music, delicious food and fantastic company.
