Dive into Manoj Dutta’s scintillating explorations of folk tradition through art at Songs of the Soil, a retrospective exhibition curated by Debdutta Gupta and organised by Sanchit Art at the Birla Academy of Arts and Culture. Guests will be able to see Dutta’s portrayal of nature, common people, and folk culture, many of which are reminiscent of the era from his youth.
The exhibition will commence with an exclusive preview on December 5, from 5.30pm, coinciding with the launch of a book on Dutta’s life and art. Acclaimed artist Jogen Chowdhury will be the chief guest. The exhibition will be open to the public from December 6 to 10, from 11am to 7pm every day. If you love art, you do not want to miss this.
