Here’s some good news for art enthusiasts of Kolkata. The streets of Behala are all set to come alive with stunning photography, performance art, video installation, installation and more at the fourth edition of Behala Art Fest, between February 3 and February 5. The festival, with My Kolkata as digital media partner, started in 2019 and is hosting its fourth edition this year with “Unbound”- মুক্ত as its theme. It is a curated street-art festival and a non-commercial platform for artists to display their creativity and connect to the masses with art.
Artist Sanatan Dinda, who is the convener of the festival, said, “Behala Art Fest is the platform to start a journey with people into the visual art practice and their spectators, who wish to accommodate themselves into that space. In the future, we wish to incorporate not only visual artists but also artists from different spheres of art and culture.
