The Dialogues: Calcutta International LGBTQIA+ Film and Video
Festival is back for its 18th edition. Now, you can enjoy two days of inspiring
cinema that highlights queer and trans experiences from around the world. Held
on November 30 and December 1 at Basusree Cinema, this festival has been a key
part of India’s queer cultural scene since 2007.
Organised by Sappho for Equality, Pratyay Gender Collective and
Goethe-Institut/Max Mueller Bhavan, the event is free and open to all,
celebrating stories of love, identity and resilience.
This year’s line-up includes an exciting mix of films, with They/Them,
Hues & Blues, and Jonja scheduled for Day 1, and B25, If,
and Blue ID lighting up the screen on Day 2. Free passes will be
available outside the venue. Don’t miss out on this celebration of LGBTQIA+
