A massive transformation awaits Bengal. On December 22, Bengali professionals, entrepreneurs and cultural ambassadors from more than 15 countries will congregate at the Calcutta Rowing Club for the inaugural edition of the Bengal Global Connect Meet.
The event aims to spark the entrepreneurial spirit of West Bengal by creating an ecosystem for cross-border innovation and cultural preservation. “This is the beginning of a movement that will reshape how the Bengali diaspora collaborates globally. It will be a dynamic platform that transcends boundaries to harness our collective potential,” said Anirban Kumar Mukhopadhyay of Global Connect Platform, who initiated the event.
The event will focus on three pillars: business innovation, cultural connectivity, and sports development. A panel of prominent business leaders will speak about ‘Bengal Business Going Global’ while NRI entrepreneurs will share their success stories. There will also be a ‘Football Adda’ and a ‘Saat Samudro Tero Nodi Talk Show’ to celebrate Bengal’s sporting and cultural ethos.
With all these initiatives, the event hopes to enable business cooperation prospects, investment programs, and a comprehensive diaspora networking database by March 2025.
