Sajal Ghosh, who has pursued photography as a passion project for many years, has brought his travels across the country to life with his second book India in Monochrome. The book is a collection of moments the photographer has framed over the years, and represents the grand, intimate, sacred and daily routines of life across the country.
“I wanted to present photographs that would reveal many facets and perspectives of life in India,” says Ghosh, adding that he has used monochrome to highlight the intensity, contents, and context of the frames without the distraction of colour.
