'Radhuni' successful in sharing food stories and recipes for more than 5,000 episodes

Directed by Pompi Mukherjee, this 16-year-old show on Aakash Aath renders equal opportunities to food enthusiasts who are compassionate about displaying their culinary skills on the television screen

The show Radhuni was launched in 2008 and till today it has been successful in sharing food stories and recipes for more than 5,000 episodes. Directed by Pompi Mukherjee, this 16-year-old show on Aakash Aath renders equal opportunities to food enthusiasts who are compassionate about displaying their culinary skills on the television screen.

Radhuni aims to bring special but simple homely recipes that can easily uplift a food connoisseur’s mood and educate the viewers about the variety of delicacies that can be explored and cherished. Till today, several acclaimed artistes from Tollywood have been a part of this show both as hosts and as special guests.

Now, the week-long Illish special episodes, being aired till June 23 at 1.30pm on Aakash Aath, are grabbing eyeballs. Guest chefs present 10 varieties of mouth-watering Illish recipes such as Borishali Illish, Kumro Illish Bhuna, Lau Bata Illish, Til Narkel Illish, Pani Khola Illish, Zafrani Illish, Golmorich Illish, Malai Illish, Aam Kasundi Illish Bhapa and Methi Illish. The anchors and guest chefs will also be narrating the origins of such inimitable and lip-smacking dishes.
