Fairfield by Marriott Kolkata in New Town saw a busy Sunday at the preview of the East Indies Sunday Brunch in association with Gordon’s on February 27. With winter almost gone and spring coming in, it was a sunny and airy affair with gourmet fare from the East Indies nations along with refreshing cocktails and live music. The event saw revellers making the most of their day out till way into early evening, with plated dishes, live stations as well as themed desserts.
“We’ve had a very successful winter where we kept changing the theme of our brunches. With this theme, we really wanted to get into a space not frequented by the city. The cuisine for this brunch has a Dutch influence as well. Plus, spring is big gin-and-tonic time, and together the food and drink make for a great combination,” smiled Abhishek Sachdev, hotel manager, Fairfield by Marriott.
