To attract more tourists, Kerala Tourism has launched a WhatsApp bidding game called ‘Holiday Heist’. The game offers tourists a chance to win vacation packages at “unbelievably low prices”. The game revolves around the concept of lowest unique bid. Maya, Kerala Tourism’s official WhatsApp chatbot (7510512345), serves as the platform for the game.

LOT Polish Airlines, a member of the Star Alliance, has started operating daily non-stop flights from Delhi and Mumbai to Warsaw. The airline is operating flights from Delhi to Warsaw every Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, Friday and Saturday, and from Mumbai to Warsaw every Sunday and Wednesday. Warsaw won the “Best European Destination 2023” award and showcases both Polish history and modern attractions.

Rail Europe, the leading provider of European train tickets and passes, has launched a Eurail Greek Islands Pass that allows travellers to explore Greek Islands such as Mykonos, Santorini and Crete via National Ferry lines for four domestic travel days. The pass can also be used with the Eurail Global Pass that connects travellers to 33 destinations across Europe by rail.

Russia has launched e-visas for Indian passport holders from August 1. The e-visa facility, which is available to travellers from 54 other countries, does not require a visit to consulates or embassies. To get an e-visa, an application must be made through the Russian foreign ministry website no earlier than 40 days and no later than four days before the planned trip. The e-visa furnished is valid for 60 days and allows tourists to stay in Russia for 16 days.
