As the city geared up to celebrate Rose Day today, My Kolkata took a walk through Eco Park’s quaint Rose Garden, which has become a favourite spot for couples — and families— looking for a day out

Pijush and Puja Debnath marked their wedding anniversary by capturing the beauty of the blooming roses and reminiscing about 11 years of marriage. ‘We came here by chance, but we’re glad that it coincided with Rose Day. It’s such a lovely space to be in,’ said Puja

We spotted Mohun Bagan SG footballer Jason Cummings showing his mom, Tracey, around during her week-long trip to Kolkata, and made sure to include Eco Park in the itinerary. ‘We enjoyed looking at the Seven Wonders, but our favourite part was spending time here amidst the greenery and flowers,’ he said
