At a time when going out on a weekend means you are left with options of swanky pubs and nightclubs with loud, thumping music to choose from, Little Bit Sober is a welcome change. Located on the second floor of 60 Chowringhee Road, Little Bit Sober is an out-and-out cocktail bar serving craft cocktails.

Once you enter through the bright red door, you will instantly get a feel of a casual bar. The place spread across 1,800sqft is snug and inviting with red as the predominant colour, dimly-lit but enough light to not make the place look dingy.

Owned by Rudradipta Mukherjee and Chirag Punwani, Little Bit Sober aims to educate guests about the varied global trends in cocktails and also serve them an experience to remember. “This place is our humble effort to try and create the first ever stage for this evolving bartending community in Calcutta. We are tucked away in an old 1890-built office building and we want guests to come here for our cocktails, have a hearty conversation and go home a little bit sober,” said Rudradipta Mukherjee.

“The number of true blue cocktail bars is growing all over India, where classics to modern crafted cocktails are served with bold flavours. We want to get that culture here too. We have made this place with all our passion so that we can offer an easy conversation place for our guests where they not only make great memories but leave happy. Cocktails are our USP but we also have a compact tailor-made food menu curated by Rituparna Banerjee that will accentuate your drinking and dining experience,” said Chirag.

The food menu is tapas style and has amazing vegetarian and non-vegetarian options ranging from chicken, mutton, beef, shrimp and pork that will leave you salivating!
