Coffee? Check. Desserts? Check. An aesthetically done up cafe? Check. Located in the heart of the city, the Bread Box cafe seats 16 and opened doors in 2021. It is the brainchild of former corporate, now entrepreneur — Sumitra Roy Choudhury.

“Although I was in the banking sector for about 20 to 25 years, I couldn’t let go of my passion for cooking. I started cooking after watching millions of food videos online, and started getting appreciation from friends and family. What started as a small initiative, kicked off during the lockdown, and this cafe is a culmination of that. This is a result of my passion and love, not mere financial needs,” said Sumitra. The Telegraph checked out the cafe which is housed inside an art gallery.
